Today is Sunday and a beautiful day in Las Vegas! Warm, sunny and just perfect for reflecting on life. I have been so blessed in my life with family and friends....even with some bumps in the road I still can see the blessings for what they are! Today I helped my neighbor to make some slaw. She is a newlywed and wants to do everything right for her Honey! Can't knock her for that. Here is the recipe for the slaw:
1 package of slaw mix ( or one small head of cabbage shredded)
1 small can of pineapple tidbits with the juice
1 carrot shredded
1 peeled and chopped granny smith apple
Mix together:
1 cup of mayo
1/4 cup of sugar
3 tbsp. of vinegar
1 tsp. of celery seed
Pour over the slaw mixture and enjoy!
